“Go ahead, hit snooze one more time!” Next thing you know you’ve slept in and the “I’ll do it tomorrow” thought creeps back up again.
How many times do we say this?
If you’re constantly hitting the snooze button it’s time to focus on some self care. Life gets busy and can suck the life right out of you if you’re not taking care of you! I know! It’s happened to me a time or two. I can tell you, if you don’t take care of you no one else will! So start today!
Here’s a few self care tips you can try:
- Take 5 mins to take a deep breath, slowly in and out until you can feel yourself getting relaxed. Try to erase everything from your mind and just relax.
- Take 5 mins to read a daily devotion (even if just scripture) and pray!
- Go for a walk or start your favorite activity and just unwind.
- Go get a mani/pedi-sit in the pedi/massage chair and just relax.
- Go get a massage.
